Name: Fabio Strangio. Age: 26. Family: Fiancée, Martina. We are getting married on June 19 this year. Home: Turin, Italy. Company: Fiat Group. How long have you been coming here? This is my first year in Arjeplog. I came for the first time in January. Occupation: I test electrical and electronic components, such as radio, electronic steering and parking systems. Favourite food: Italian food! Pizza, pasta, spaghetti. Dream car: My present car is my dream car. Present car: Fiat Idea, bad black in colour. Spare time activities: I go fishing in Italy and perhaps I will try ice-fishing here, if we get a chance before I leave. I have a scooter that I drive and I watch motorcycle racing, Formula 1. I enjoy watching all sports. I am a fan of Torino football club and go to all the home matches. I also coach a children’s football team. What is good in Arjeplog? The snow! I have never seen so much snow. It is tranquil and quiet here. It is wonderful that it is so quiet in the day, there are no distractions and I can do my work very well. In Turin things are so stressful and busy. Even my hair is stressed out in Turin and stands on edge. Here it is so quiet that my hair is flat (also because I wear a hat for the cold) and I have to use hair gel to get it to stand up. What is bad in Arjeplog? The tranquillity and quietness is good in the day here, but it is not good for the nights. It is too quiet here by night. I want more action. Music you like? Disco music. I also like Italian music, singers such as Eros Ramazzotti and Ligabue. What is important in life? Health is important. My family is the most important thing in my life: my fiancée, my parents, my sister. When I am with my family, I feel so happy and at peace with myself and the world. When I am in Arjeplog and my family are not here, then the Fiat group serves as my family.
